Sunflower Hill Park (Himawari-no-oka Park)

A fun and exciting park boasting seasonal blooms

Sunflower Hill Park is a restful location surrounded by lush nature and seasonal flowers. In the summer, the southern flower field is covered by around 400,000 sunflowers in bloom, a magnificent sight that spreads out like a golden carpet. The yellow flowers swaying in the wind under the blue sky is a true spectacle. This is a great chance to pick up your camera and take an unforgettable photo.
In the fall, around 4 million cosmos flowers bloom, carpet-like, captivating visitors. The trees in the park change color, enabling you to enjoy the vivid fall leaves; this park boasts charms worth visiting throughout the four seasons.

This vast park offers plenty of equipment for dynamic play, including a roller slide and trampoline area. One great point is that areas for children are divided by age, such as the infant area (age 1–3) and the sunflower tower (age 6–12), so you can let your children play with peace of mind! There’s also a water play spot, open only in the summer, where children can have fun while feeling cool in the summer heat.
You can even spread your picnic sheet and enjoy a bento box lunch on the lawn area. Of course, you can also savor a leisurely meal in the park’s restaurant.
