Amako Sobe Manga Gallery

Dive into the world of popular manga!

This gallery introduces the works of the popular manga artist from Amagasaki, Amako Sobe. Here, you can see images from Rakudai Ninja Rantaro and frames from its anime, Nintama Rantaro. Walk through the entrance and you’ll be met with a wide wall of colorful illustrations—a welcome from the unique characters of the artist’s works. The faces of some characters even peer down from the ceiling, so you can have fun spotting them all. This exhibition space makes use of a former elementary school building, creating a somewhat nostalgic atmosphere, and it really feels like you’ve entered the world of the story!

The ”purchase division” in the gallery holds rows of limited goods that are only available here. You’ll definitely want to collect all of the capsule toys, not sold anywhere else. There’s also an array of cute items such as coasters and post cards, perfect for souvenirs. This gallery is easy to access, so we recommend dropping in in a spare moment during your trip! It’s a popular spot among manga fans, that everyone, children and adults alike, can enjoy. Come and experience the charms of Amako Sobe here.
