Arima Onsen Taiko no Yu
It's fine to attend empty-handed! A hot-spring theme park that takes you around the golden and silver springs
Arima Onsen is famous as one of Japan’s three great hot springs. This is the largest hot-spring theme park in western Japan, combining history and modernity.
Inside is a wide, elegant space created in imitation of the Taiko no Yudono-kan, enabling visitors to feel the history of Arima Onsen, which was loved by Toyotomi Hideyoshi, a famous samurai of the 16th century. Its greatest attractions are the baths that use plenty of the water of Arima Onsen’s vaunted “golden” and “silver” springs—the red-brown “golden” spring waters will warm you to the core with their high thermal efficiency and can make your skin more beautiful. On the other hand, the colorless and clear “silver” spring waters relive fatigue and are perfect for refreshing yourself.
This facility offers plenty of options: an elaborate outdoor bath, stone sauna, and private bathing spaces, so whether you bring your family or come as a couple or with friends, you’ll experience a soothing time that suits whatever type of visit you want. After bathing, we recommend you enjoy a meal made using local ingredients in the eatery, and choose some souvenirs.
Arima Onsen Taiko no Yu is easily accessible from Osaka and Kobe, and clothing to wear inside, towels, and bath towels are included in the price, offering the great advantage of being able to make an easy visit without having to bring anything with you!
