Immerse Yourself in FUKU and Explore Japan’s Beginnings (Takarazuka〜Kobe〜Awaji)

FROM JPY 840,000

A tour based in Takarazuka, which is sure to attract inbound visitors not only for its accessibility to and from the west but for the ability to experience FUKU culture to its fullest. A culture whose source is good fortune and is said to be rooted in the origins of Japan as a nation.

Takarazuka is known to be one of the foremost hot spring sites in the country. For this reason, we’ve curated a special dinner in the port city of Kobe as well as an open-bath so that you may genuinely experience the views cast in the thick of mountains and seas.

*In addition, we can also propose travel plans to places related to the myth of Japan's birth, so please feel free to contact us. Example) Shimane / Izumo Grand Shrine, Mie Prefecture / Ise Shrine, etc.

Immerse Yourself in FUKU and Explore Japan’s Beginnings (Takarazuka〜Kobe〜Awaji)
Start
Day1

The Unexplored Region Blessed with FUKU, Takarazuka Stay

Check into Hotel Wakamizu, where upon entering your room, you will be met with lucky charm decor locally produced in Takarazuka City. Enjoy an exclusive lucky bag, which includes handmade lucky charms only available here.

Until dinner, you can relax in the open-air indoor bath with roses floating in red and other assorted colors bearing good luck, whilst taking in the view of the city.

At the designated time, you will be welcomed with an original kaiseki meal using abalones among other auspicious ingredients to be enjoyed in a private dining hall, as is customary in respect to feng shui, along with Hyogo’s sake tasting.

Day2

Receive Fire Tongs to Ward Off Bad Luck at Kiyoshikojin Seicho-ji Temple, which Enshrines the God of Fire

Fire, an indispensable element in people's lives, has been treated since ancient times as something sacred that purifies all things. Here, you can receive hibashi (fire tongs) to ward off evil spirits as a good luck charm. Please enjoy strolling along the 1km approach lined with local restaurants and souvenir stores along the way.

[Option] Visit a Lucky Charm Workshop with 140 Years of History to Create your own Original Lucky Charm

FROMJPY 45,000

Visit the workshop of Ebisu Shimada, which actually produces the lucky charms for the guest rooms. After receiving an explanation of the history and production process of lucky charms from an active craftsman, visitors can create their own original lucky charms to take home. If the timing is right, you can also purchase the lucky charms on the spot.

Explore Nishinomiya Shrine, where Lucky Charms Made in a Workshop in Takarazuka are Housed

This is the main shrine of Ebisu Shrine, which enshrines Ebisu, the god of good fortune. You can purchase the o-fuda sold to visitors to the shrine and put them in an Ebisu Shimada o-fuda holder to enjoy the set.

*If you include the Takarazuka - Nishinomiya itinerary in your tour, the o-fuda holder is enclosed in the lucky bag.

Art Aquarium átoa - Chartered Dinner for the Senses

Serene seas encapsulated in the largest spherical aquarium in Japan. That is the setting. There you will be served a private Kobe beef dinner course paired with sake from the region, hand-picked by a sommelier. This is without a doubt, an exclusive dinner experience designed and curated with you in mind. While you eat, enjoy some jazz. As Kobe is the fountainhead of Japan’s jazz movement, it only makes sense for it to be the soundtrack to your evening. The player is also from Kobe, so delight in a night bound in Kobe’s sights, sounds and gastronomy.

Day3

A Cruise & Trek to Unearth the Origins of Japan

You will visit Nushima, a place sheathed in mythology.

Particularly its role in the legends surrounding how Japan came to be. We will board a fishing boat and visit the spot where the myth was set.

Day4

[Option] Enjoy a Performance Dedicated to Ebisu at Awaji Puppet Theatre

The next day, you can see a performance of Ebisu, the first god created by the two gods who appear in the myth of the birth of the country, and feel a deeper connection with the myth.
