Plan of The Sake Master who will attend to the sake and meals, offering a pairing course
Founded in 1849, this plan allows you to enjoy a pairing course at the designated important cultural property, master's house, where cultural figures and artists used to gather during the Meiji to Showa eras, thanks to the deep connection with the haiku poet Takahama Kyoshi, who was active during that time and had a close relationship with the third- generation’s sake brewer.Inspired by the traditional "makanai" (staff meal) that has been passed down since the early days of Nishiyama Sake Brewery, you can savor a menu featuring dishes made with local vegetables and abundant use of fermented foods. Experience the harmony of these dishes with a selection of seven types of Japanese sake. The menu includes appetizers, a main course, soba noodle, soup, dessert, and seven varieties of Japanese sake.Regarding customers who attended a pairing course, we also offer tour to the brewery as an option. We prepare experiences that are special in a living warehouse such as getting to know the temperature of the room where preparation takes place, and being able to feel the warmth of malted rice.
