Izushi Castle Ruins/Shinkoro
Inari Shrine is located in the castle ruins and thirty-seven vermilion lacquered torii gates (gates at the entrance to shinto shrines) are beautiful in contrast with the whiteness of the castle.
Daijoji Temple
Daijoji Temple is a temple of the Koyasan Shingon Sect founded by Gyoki Bosatsu in 745. All 165 paintings on the fusuma (sliding paper door) painted by Maruyama Okyo and his clan are designated as important cultural assets.
Takeda Castle Ruins
The Takeda Castle constructed on the mountain is one of one hundred famous castles in Japan.
