Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art
This art museum has multiple functions and was reopened in HAT Kobe in 2002. The building was designed by Tadao Ando.
Disaster Reduction and Human Renovation Institution
This institution was founded to convey the experiences and lessons of the Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake to the next generation and to reduce damage during disasters.
Kobe City Museum
The museum is located in Kyukyoryuchi. It has about 40,000 items about Kobe in its collections, including national treasures, important cultural properties, old maps and historical materials.
Kobe Meriken Park (Kobe Port, Kobe Port Tower, Earthquake Memorial Park, Kobe Maritime Museum/Kawasaki Good Times World)
The park was built on reclaimed land between Meriken Park, which was opened in 1868 as the port of delivery for foreign goods, and Naka Tottei (the Central Pier), which was built in the Taisho Era (1912-1926).
Kobe Flowers and Birds Garden
The total area of the garden is about 4 ha. The area of the air-conditioned greenhouse is about 16,000 m2.
Kobe Oji Zoo
Aside from the ever popular giant panda, visitors can come into contact with about 850 animals from 150 different species.
Sorakuen Garden
Sorakuen Garden is the only urban traditional Japanese garden in Kobe and has been designated as a national registered monument (scenic spot).

Suma Aqualife Park is a pioneer large scale modern aquarium that has a unique, large triangular roof rising against the background of the sea.
Akashi Kaikyo Bridge
Akashi Kaikyo Bridge is the longest suspension bridge in the world with a total length of 3,911m. It connects Honshu and Awaji Island.
Maiko Marine Promenade
Maiko Marine Promenade is a path that extends 317m along the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge. It is suspended 47m above the ocean and is 150m from land.
