Tatsuno City has a history of brewing soy sauce since the Edo Period, which is on display in the Usukuchi Tatsuno Shoyu Museum. Reproductions of workshops from that time, and the office of a soy sauce storehouse from the Meiji Period have been built. You can learn about the good qualities of wheat, soy beans and about the history of Tatsuno, an area blessed by pure water and a mild climate.
