[Osaka Castle Tower]
Osaka Castle Tower This famous castle in Japan, built by Hideyoshi Toyotomi, still remains on a vast site with double moats, high stone walls, etc.

The interior of the castle tower has been made into a museum to show the history of Osaka.

[Kinkaku-ji Temple]
Kinkaku-ji Temple A World Cultural Heritage site, it is properly known as Rokuon-ji.
After the death of Yoshimitsu Ashikaga, his mountain villa became a Zen temple.
The Kinkaku is known as a symbol of the Kitayama culture (in around beginning of 15 century).

[Todai-ji Temple]
Todai-ji Temple A treasure house of arts / Buddhist buildings representing Japan, such as Nandaimon, Kaidan'in, Nigatsudo, Sangatsudo and so forth, including the Great Buddha housed in the Daibutsuden, the world's largest wooden structure.
It is designated as a World Cultural Heritage site.

[Marina City]
Marina City A marine city constructed on Wakanoura Bay, this is complete with fun facilities such as the amusement park Porto Europa, Park Pacific which emanates a mood of a southern land, Kuroshio Market, and so forth.
From JR Wakayama Station, take a Wakayama Bus 20 minutes to Marina City, off the terminal; or from JR Wakayama Station, take the JR Kisei Main Line 20 minutes to Kainan Station, change to a Wakayama Bus 15 minutes to Marina City, off the terminal.
