The museum has about 80 music boxes. Visitors
not only enjoy viewing but also listening to them being played hourly. Other mechanical
instruments such as mechanical organs, pianos and violins are also played for
visitors.

(The last admission is 1 hour before closing.)

Enjoy a panoramic view of Kobe from Mt. Rokko.
New Tourist attractions were opened in April, 2003 at an altitude of 880 meters.
The tower commands a splendid view, especially at night. There are 4 restaurants
ranging from a Mongolian mutton barbecue(open until the middle of November) to
light meals and 5 shops, such as mini-convenience store, souvenirs shops etc..
Why not drop by while you are out on a drive!

Access:About 40minutes from Sannomiya by car.
Take Kobe City Bus from Hanshin Mikage Station, JR Rokkomichi Station or Hankyu
Rokko Station to Rokko Cable Car Station.
A 10 minute ride on the Cable. It takes 10 minutes from the Cable Station
by Sanjo Bus.

| [Kobe City Rokkosan Pasture] |

Mt. Rokko is a popular highland resort known for
its scenic beauty and splendid night view. The Rokkosan Pasture is located
on the west side of Mt. Rokko, and cows, goats, and sheep graze in its large pastures.
The pasture presents a beautiful view with wildly blooming flowers in every season.
It becomes lively during the Alps Festival in summer. In the south area of the
pasture, there is the Kobe Cheese House where visitors can learn cheese-making
process and the culture of the cheese and wool.
Open 9:00 – 17:00 Closed Tuesday (when national holidays fall on Tuesdays,
closed the following Wednesday. Summer vacations open. Closed from
December 29 to January 1.)

| [Rokko Alpine Botanical Garden] |

Located at an altitude of 865 meters near the
peak of Mt. Rokko.
The average yearly temperature is about 9 degrees C which is suitable for growing
alpine plants and plants native to cold regions. 1,500 species of wild plants
are grown in the garden.

Opened in 1940. Enjoy strolling the forest
park where many flowers bloom and birds flit from tree to tree.
Open 9:00 – 17:00 (The last admission is 16:30)
Closed Wednesday (when national holidays fall on Wednesday, closed the following
Thursday.) and December 29 to January 3.
Admission ¥300 for Adult.
Free courtesy bus runs hourly from East Exit of Kobe Dentetsu Kitasuzurandai Station
to the Kobe Municipal Arboretum and takes 10 minutes.
Take Kobe City Bus No.25 from 50 meters east of Sogo Department in Sannomiya to
the Kobe Municipal Arboretum only on Saturday, Sunday and national holidays in
April to November. A 40 minute ride brings you to the Kobe Municipal Arboretum.

| [Mt.Maya Tenjoji Temple] |
Tenjoji Temple is an old Shingon Sect temple on top of Mt. Maya and is said to have been founded in 646 by the hermit Hodo who came from India on a cloud of brushwood. The temple has been popular among people as a place to pray for a safe birth from the Edo period.
