Tatsuno is called Sho-Kyoto (Little Kyoto) of
Harima, a town where you can still find traditional scenes reminiscent of ancient
Kyoto. This old castle town earned its name because of the old samurai residences,
remains of castle walls and so on that one can find there. In April, during the
cherry blossom festival, you can see Musha Gyoretsu, a procession of people dressed
in samurai costume. Blessed by nature, the scenic beauty in each season here is
wonderful. |
