TAJIMAYA was renovated and opened in August 2002. Located almost in the center of Kinosaki hot spring resort, this is a modern Japanese style inn built of natural materials such as clay walls, old trees and bamboos. There are three hot-spring bathrooms for guests and all of them can be chartered for free. Each guest room has charcoal objets d’art and is a compromise between Japanese and Western styles equipped with floor heating. It also provides two kinds of original Yukata, or light cotton kimonos, for both men and women, which guests can choose.

The Tokiwa Bekkan is known as a quiet oasis in Kinosaki hotsprings and many visitors have been before. There is a garden in the center, encircled by four two-story buildings. TSUTAYA is an inn where Kogoro Katsura, a warrior in 18 century, hid in after Hamaguri Gomon no Hen, a terrible war which had taken place in Kyoto. This ryokan displays a lot of art works of historical warriors and artists such as Kogoro Katsura, Yuzo Kondo(potter), Hideo Nishiyama(painter) and his pupils. It is a satisfactory inn for art lovers. It also displays the original copy of Ryotaro Shiba, a well-known author, who stayed here to report for his work, Ryoma ga Iku(the life of Ryoma Sakamoro, a warrior in 19 century).
