Maikokan is a restaurant and an inn overlooking the sea. Dishes are served with fresh fish caught locally and vegetables grown on site. January to March features oyster dishes, sea bream and conger from May to June, and sea eel from July to August. Sushi and dobinmushi (Matsutake mushrooms steamed in an earthenware teapot) are served from September to October along with a seasonal meal cooked in a pot at the table. Prices range from ¥2,000-¥4,000.
